Full Time Business Office Manager

Gunnison Valley Hospital is seeking a Business Office Manager. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced individual which will be responsible for the management and supervision of the billing, collection, admitting process, charge posting, and cash posting. The ideal applicant will emphasize honesty, accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in the revenue cycle process. This position is also responsible for the supervisor and training of the business office team.

The Business Office Manager is also responsible for attending monthly manager meetings, holding monthly staff meetings, and attending quarterly CQI meetings prepared with goals to improve department.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Possess knowledge of both Healthcare systems and operations. This includes experience with various revenue cycle operations from scheduling, pre-registration, admissions to billing and collections
  • Must be very knowledgeable about Medicare, Medicaid, other governmental programs, commercial, HMO/PPO, ACO and their associated processes, payments and regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with automation, computers, software and technology
