Dr. Randal Gibb has been taking care of ear, nose and throat problems for his patients in Utah County and Central Utah for the past 31 years. In 1974, He graduated with honors from the University of Utah Medical School and completed his Ear, Nose and Throat residency with the U. S. Navy in Oakland, California in 1979. Since then, he has been board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Gibb served four more years with the Navy in Newport, Rhode Island, where he was the Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He then established his practice in Payson, Utah where he has been ever since. In addition to the office in Payson, he sees patients in his Orem office weekly. An outreach clinic in Gunnison allows patients from Central Utah a closer option for their office and surgical needs.
Dr. Gibb performs all levels of general Ear, Nose and Throat treatments and surgeries. He has kept current with the amazing technological advancements in medicine through annual training, education courses and continued studies. His extensive experience and expertise allows him to provide optimum care for many types of medical and surgical problems.
Dr. Gibb enjoys reading, artistic painting, water sports, travel, and being with his family of five children and seven grandchildren.
James Crowley joined Dr. Gibb and Dr. Ence as a physician assistant in 2008 after graduating from A.T. Still’s Physician Assistant school in Mesa, Arizona.
B. Kelly Ence graduated from BYU and then completed medical school at St. Louis University. He then completed Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in the USAF. He has been practicing in Utah County for the past 20 years. He practices the full range of otolaryngology with special interest in thyroid/parathyroid surgery as well as reconstructive surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Thyroid Association and Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is currently applying for membership in the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and will be the only member in the state of Utah.
He is married to the former Rebecca Brown and has five children, all boys. He enjoys time with family, racquetball, and is an avid BYU sports fan and Real Salt Lake soccer fan.
Dr. Robert D. Pearson earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Southern Utah State College. He attended medical school at the University of Utah, graduating in 1994. He completed a one-year general surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado (1995-1996), after which he completed specialty residency training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado in 1999. Dr. Pearson is a certified member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, is board certified in Sleep Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Pearson currently practices at Canyon View Ear, Nose, and Throat in Cedar City, and is available at the Gunnison clinic every other Wednesday.
