Connie Mitchell Vail, MD
Dr. Vail attended Brigham Young University, and the University of Utah School of Medicine, where she received her MD in 1984, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following a Transitional Internship year at LDS Hospital, she completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Duke University, in Durham, NC, where she was also a Chief Resident. She also completed an additional one year of Fellowship Training in Abdominal Imaging, also at Duke University.
Dr. Vail returned to Utah and joined Salt Lake Clinic in 1990, where she practiced Diagnostic Radiology, and was department head for several years.
In 2001, Dr Vail joined Dr. Bevan Bastian, of Central Utah Radiology. Together, they cover both Gunnison Valley Hospital, and Central Valley Medical Center, in Nephi. They interpret imaging examinations, including Magnetic Resonance (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, mammography, (including needle localizations and biopsies), fluoroscopy, and routine imaging procedures.
Dr. Vail is married, has four children and seven grandchildren. When not at work, she enjoys her grandchildren and Arabian horses.
