My first experience as a Nurse Practitioner was at the Bethel Family Clinic in
Bethel, Alaska for 2 years as a National Health Service Corps scholar before
moving to East Carbon, Utah, where I worked in a Community Health Center (FQHC)
as a provider for 7 years and as Medical Director for 2 years.
My wife and I have 3 awesome children. Although we were both born and raised in
the city, we love rural Utah because of the wide-open spaces, beautiful scenery,
good neighbors, the tremendous variety of recreational opportunities, clean air
and the ability to go to work each day without encountering a traffic jam.
