Steve Anderson has lived in Gunnison Valley for his entire life save the 2 years he spent on an LDS mission to Australia, 6 months of active duty in the Utah National Guard, and 3 years working in American Fork. He feels very fortunate to have raised his family in Gunnison and has always tried to support community events, public schools and their church. In addition to the hospital board, Anderson has been a member of the Snow College Vocational Training Advisory Board, Mayfield Town Council, and the Sanpete County Board of Adjustments and Planning Commission. He has especially enjoyed the opportunity to work with the youth of the valley through scouting and Young Men activities, and has served as a counselor to two bishops, bishop, high council and the stake Young Men presidency.
