Merri Lynn Sorenson spent most of her childhood in Salina, Utah. She graduated from North Sevier High School then continued her education at Sevier Valley Technical College and Snow College in the field of Secretarial Science. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to Centerfield, where she currently resides. In 1990 she was offered a position as a para educator at Gunnison Valley Elementary School. This opportunity turned into a rewarding career working with children. She spent 22 years as the school Librarian where she shared her love of reading. Currently, she can be found in the front office working as a school secretary. Merri Lynn and her husband, Perry, are the proud parents of three sons and nine grandchildren.
