Gunnison Valley Hospital Clinic Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinic Manager plans and coordinates operations of the health clinic and works under the supervision of the CFO.  Duties and responsibilities include ensuring policies & procedures are followed, quality assurance & quality improvement activities are completed, managing daily operations & workflow, and planning the use of materials and human resources at four clinics. The Clinic Manager approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion & works in cooperation with medical staff and employees to assure that quality services are delivered in a timely, professional manner and in alignment with Gunnison Valley Hospital’s mission. The Clinic Manager is Gunnison Valley Hospital’s HIPAA Privacy Officer.

As a Clinic Manager You will:

  • Liaison with Providers to assist in the development, implementation, and management of patient care including patient flow (cycle times)
  • Oversee training of new and existing employees
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, staff, and providers to ensure continued excellence in quality of care
  • Manages inventory for both front and back office
  • Formulates and implements departmental and organizational policies and procedures
  • Supervise staff work schedules, adherence to policies, monitor and evaluate performance
  • Trouble shoots IT issues and facilitates interaction with IT department
  • Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, rewarding, and training
  • Optimize services to maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction and Provider efficiency
  • Manage marketing and educational initiatives that support the growth of the medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
  • Maintains the appearance of the office through management of the cleaning service
  • Offers insight and recommendation to the electronic health records system and assists in implementation, as appropriate, for workflow changes
  • Addresses consumer complaints
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the CFO

You should have:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is highly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting is required
  • 1+ year of experience in the supervision of staff is helpful
