Gunnison Valley Hospital Children’s Learning Center is looking for two compassionate and responsible part-time Child Care workers, who have experience in caring for infants and toddlers.  We are committed to high quality care for each child enrolled in our center.  Our goal is to provide a loving and caring learning environment for our children to explore.  Positions available are:

• 7:00 am to 12:30
• 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up classroom, relieve teachers, and close classroom/center
• Follow through with lesson plans and maintain a safe environment for children
• Interact and monitor children during all learning experiences
• Maintain open communication with parents, children, and co-workers
• Be able to report emergency’s through written and verbal communication
• Develop a cleaning routine that will ensure a safe and clean learning environment
• Serve meals and snacks
• Attend monthly meeting and maintain annual training

Skills:

• Must be 18 +yrs (due to Utah State Licensing Regulations)
• High school diploma/GED required
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test required
• Willing to obtain valid CPR, First Aid, and Food handlers’ certification
• Must have caring, compassionate and responsible attitude
• Provide records and maintain immunizations
