Marvin Allen, M.D.
Dr. Marvin Allen graduated from Brigham Young University and completed medical school at Georgetown University. He completed both his residency and fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, where he specialized in Cardiology.
Ronald Yardley, C.R.N.A., A.P.R.N., M.S., R.T
Ronald Yardley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Radiology from Weber State University and then went on to obtain his Master's Degree in Biology at Southern Connecticut State University. He received anesthesia training from Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health system, and received the professional and clinical excellence award through Bridgeport Hospital nurse anesthesia program.
He is a board member of the Utah Association of Nurse Anesthetists and he maintains his certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Yardley has more than 12 years of experience providing individualized anesthesia care for families and individuals.
G.J. Willden, M.D.
Dr. G.J. Willden grew up in the Gunnison Valley. He graduated from Snow College; then continued his undergraduate education at the University of Utah where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2004. He subsequently completed a Family Medicine residency at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah before returning to the Gunnison Valley in 2007 to begin practicing medicine.
For the past 12 years, Dr. Willden has served almost exclusively in the emergency department (ER) at the hospital. He loves the opportunity to help his friends and neighbors, of all ages, get the emergency medical attention they need and deserve.
When not treating patients, Dr. Willden enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their four children, working on his father’s farm, and living an active lifestyle.
Barry Sorenson, D.D.S.
Dr. Sorenson graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1989. He immediately started his dental practice in Salina, Utah and has been serving Salina for over 25 years. Sorenson is a member of the Utah Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Amy Vanderherp, PA-C
Amy is a physician assistant who graduated from Utah State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and minors in biology and chemistry. She then went on to pursue a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and graduated from A.T. Still University in 2010. She spent four years practicing in pediatrics and is currently practicing at Gunnison Family Practice.
Jordan Thompson, C.R.N.A., M.S.N., A.P.R.N.
Jordan Thompson graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s Nurse Anesthesia Program, where he was awarded the Nurse Anesthesia Academic Achievement Award. He received anesthesia training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is certified through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Thompson provides a full spectrum of anesthesia care including: general, sedation, regional, obstetric and dental anesthesia and general pain management. His specialty is managing chronic back pain through steroidal injections.
Ben Robinson, M.D.
Dr. Ben Robinson is a visiting specialist who is board certified in orthopedic medicine and surgery, Dr. Robinson will work from the hospital each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. He previously served as the Chief of Orthopedics at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. He earned his M.D. from University of Utah School of Medicine in 2002.
As a specialist in orthopedic medicine, Dr. Robinson diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves). Dr. Robinson has treated patients in many areas or orthopedic medicine, including emergency, sports and arthritis related health problems. He is also skilled at joint replacement surgery.
“This area is in my blood. I grew up in Beaver, and my father has practiced family medicine there for over 40 years,” Dr. Robinson said. “I have a love for rural Utah and am excited to get to know and serve the Sanpete and Sevier County communities.”
Dr. Robinson grew up in beaver and loves rural Utah. He and his wife, who are both from Utah, have been married for 20 years and have five children ranging in ages 4-17. They enjoy spending time together in the outdoors.
Richard Nay, M.D.
Dr. Richard Nay graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency in family practice at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Arizona. He specializes in the field of Family Medicine and has 27 years of experience in providing comprehensive medical care for families and individuals. Dr. Nay is also trained and certified to practice Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Cary Judy, D.O.
Dr. Cary Judy graduated from Brigham Young University and completed his residency in family practice at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and previously served as the Chief of Staff at Gunnison Valley Hospital. As a family physician, he takes a strong interest in treating the whole family and particularly enjoys taking care of children and adolescents, especially young athletes. Dr. Judy believes in good patient-physician communication and takes a special interest in each of his patients.
Tyler Jolley, D.P.M.
Dr. Tyler Jolley earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Utah University then his Master of Healthcare Administration and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. He is well trained to provide excellent care for all your foot and ankle needs. In addition to the common foot and ankle concerns, Dr. Jolley received specialized training in sports medicine, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, trauma, and pediatric foot and ankle care. Although Dr. Jolley has extensive surgical training, his philosophy is to focus on conservative non-surgical options first. No problem is too small. From arch pain and ingrown nails to reconstructive surgery, Dr. Jolley would love to get you back on your feet!
