Gunnison Valley Hospital (GVH) is seeking interested community members from the Manti and Sterling area AND from the Redmond, Salina, Aurora area to be considered for an appointment to the GVH Governing Board.
This is an opportunity to represent your community and help support the long-term success of local healthcare. GVH is looking for individuals who are committed to our communities and interested in contributing their knowledge, experience, and perspective to the governance of the Hospital.
We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experience, including finance/accounting, business management, legal/compliance, technology and cybersecurity, agriculture/rural business, education, economic development, healthcare, and community leadership. Prior healthcare or board experience is not required.
Position Details
- Four-year term
- Voting member of the GVH Governing Board
- Appointed by the GVH Governing Board
- Regular attendance and participation in Board meetings is expected
- Applicants must meet applicable GVH Board eligibility and residency requirements
