Dr. Thompson graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). He immediately started his dental practice in Ephraim, Utah. Thompson is a member of the Utah Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Dr. Sean Schexnayder grew up in Cedar City Utah. He attended Southern Utah University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While attending dental school he realized that he would love to work in pediatrics so he was accepted into the Pediatric Dental program at the Temple University Hospital where he completed two years of specialty training.

Dr. Schexnayder enjoys being back in Utah and being close to his family and friends. He and his wife Charise have one son, Ayden. They love spending time together traveling and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. David T. Savage earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Utah as well as a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Barry University School of Natural and Health Sciences in Miami Shores, Florida.

His office, Aspen Foot and Ankle, is conveniently located behind Gunnison Valley Hospital and is open every other Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM

Dr. Robert D. Pearson is a visiting specialist board certified in sleep medicine. He diagnoses and treats an array of sleep disorders including Sleep apnea, Narcolepsy, and REM behavior disorders.

Dr. Pearson earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Southern Utah State College (SUSC). He attended medical school at the University of Utah, graduating in 1994. He completed a one-year general surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado (1995-96), after which he completed specialty residency training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado in 1999.

Dr. Pearson is a native of Cedar City, Utah. He began serving the residents of Southern Utah in July 1999 after establishing a practice in Cedar City, Utah.

Jason Okerlund is a family nurse practitioner at Gunnison Valley Hospital. He received his medical degree at the University of Utah in 2003.

Dr. Frandsen graduated from Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1986. He immediately started his dental practice in Gunnison, Utah. Frandsen is a member of the Central District Dental Society, Utah Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Michael P. Eyre is committed to providing outstanding medical and aesthetic dermatology to people of all ages. After graduating from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Montana, Dr. Eyre completed an internship at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Internal Medicine in Michigan. He then completed his Dermatology residency at Michigan’s Pontiac General Hospital, where he became a board certified provider.

Kelly Ence, M.D.

Dr. Bradford Kelly Ence, MD is an otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) specialist who has over 40 years of experience.

Dr. Ence offers clinic and surgery days every second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. His clinic is located in the same building as Mid-Utah Family Medicine at the address 95 N 100 E St, Gunnison, UT.

He graduated from the University of Hawaii’s JA Burns School of Medicine and completed his residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Since then, he practiced for Revere Health as an ENT having offices in Orem, Provo, Payson and Gunnison.

Dr. Ence retired from full-time medicine in 2023 and took a year hiatus. He is now back in Gunnison, this time employed by Gunnison Valley Hospital as a part-time ENT.

Dr. Ence is a general ENT with an advanced specialty in endocrine surgery (thyroid and parathyroid surgery) and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His years of college education and field experience have helped him become an extremely sought-after ENT in the state of Utah. His ability to speak both Spanish and English, and the fact that he accepts 38 insurances, has also contributed to his large patient demographic.

In his spare time, Dr. Ence enjoys road cycling and takes every opportunity he can to be active outside.

Dr. Douglas graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2010. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He enhanced his education with courses in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Adult and Pediatric Oral Conscious Sedation Dentistry. He currently serves as a dental officer in the Utah Army National Guard.

Dr. Scott E. Bingham specializes in Cardiac MRI and CT as well as Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Bingham earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Utah and completed medical school at Vanderbilt University in 1986. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of California, San Diego in 1989, and went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Bingham is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology, and Board of Nuclear Medicine. He is affiliated with the American College of Cardiology Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
