Respiratory Therapy

Gunnison Valley Hospital’s Respiratory Care Team provides treatment, evaluation, monitoring and management of patients with breathing disorders or cardiovascular problems. 

Our respiratory therapists have each attained a high level of certification and training as accredited Registered Respiratory Therapists (RTT).

Gunnison Valley Hospital’s respiratory services include:

  • Small-volume nebulizer (SVN) treatment.
  • Pulmonary function testing.
  • Incentive spirometry.
  • BiPAP and CPAP.
  • Short-term ventilator management – for stabilizing and transporting patients.
  • EKG.
  • Holter monitoring – 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour or seven-day monitoring is available.
  • Delivery assistance.
